JupyterCon Keynote Talk

Project Jupyter brought us the Jupyter notebook and Jupyter lab. These applications have become the standard in data science development environments.

JupyterCon is a yearly conference celebrating the success of Project Jupyter. It brings together developers and users from all over the world. Experts who use Jupyter and open source languages such as Python and Julia to find solutions to their research questions.

In 2020 I gave the opening keynote talk at JupterCon. I talked about the importance of open source software and open research.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the conference was online and pre-recorded. I took the opportunity to create a keynote talk with a bit of a difference. You can watch the talk below.
